The house is a single-story house designed in a modern Mediterranean villa style. A tasteful, clean, Italian mid-century modern interior provides an elegant environment for anything from ultra-modern to antique decor. It also has one of very, very few full-size swimming pools on the island.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a den/office with built in floor to ceiling bookcases and a very large living room with a12' ceiling and a working fireplace.
The master bedroom, living room and den are built around the patio/pool to create an indoor/outdoor nexus. The other two bedrooms and bath are at the far end of the house from the master (a private "East Wing").
The house is on one of the largest lots on the island (70' wide, 6,300 SF) almost double the size of the typical Lido lot. The patio is surrounded by a 7' wall and is on the 2 widest streets on the island, Via Genoa (70') and Piazza Lido (110').

The result is total privacy and a patio from which one sees nothing except sky and tree-tops, a rare exception for Lido with its narrower streets and most houses in close proximity to one another.

Lido is a unique residential community of 800 homes, an actual island in Newport Harbor, connected to the mainland by one bridge. The island boasts numerous amenities, including private beaches, playgrounds, and boat docks/storage one block away, 3 tennis courts, a residents-only yacht club, a junior sailing program and numerous community activities.

You don't need a car except to leave the area. Golf carts and bicycles are common modes of transportation. Pedestrian-only beach-front paths and 'stradas' on the island allow long walks off public streets. There are no commercial businesses on the island, but all the necessities are just across the bridge. The Lido Lifestyle includes being able to walk or bicycle to shopping, numerous restaurants in Lido Village or to miles of public ocean beaches.
