Katie is a veterinary student (doctoral - DVM) & tenant of this brand new home in the Alamosa Springs neighborhood. Gigi is Katie's mother who lives in Arizona & whose phone # is listed: (520)-245-5789. Gigi is managing the listing on Katie's behalf. The home is just 7 miles from Texas A&M University (10-15 min), 10 minutes to the veterinary school and 7 minutes to the College of Medicine and College of Nursing, & right across from the Brazos County Expo Center. I am one of the tenants in the house and I'm a second year veterinary student. The male tenant is a law enforcement officer. The 2 of other rooms are used as my office and a guest room and 1 is used as the other tenant's bedroom. Rent + utilities = ~$900/month. Rent is $750. Utilities (includes internet, water, electric, trash, recycling, sewer) are about $150 but have been fluctuating a little. EXPECT TO PAY $900/MONTH While the house is fully furnished, including all common spaces and bathrooms, tenants are required to bring ONLY bedroom furniture & bathroom & kitchen necessities. (ie. bathroom/kitchen linens, plates/silverware, glasses/cups, pots/pans, etc.) Each tenant will have their own bathroom next to their room. Tenants will be able to use the large upstairs study area at their leisure. House is equipped with Ring alarm system, cameras, and contact sensors and touchscreen keyless front door lock (each tenant will have their own specific codes for the alarm system and front door lock). All NEW appliances including washer/dryer and upright freezer in garage for tenant use. The floor plan of the house is such that the master and laundry are downstairs and the study room and tenants bedrooms & bathrooms are upstairs. Each tenant room is large & spacious and can easily fit a queen bed, desk, & a vanity/dresser. There is also a large backyard and patio that overlook a ravine and forest - no building can ever occur behind the house. Being a doctoral veterinary student, I take my studies very seriously. It is imperative that tenants must be clean and organized. Of course, occasionally I like to have some fun but for the most part I am always studying. Therefore, noise MUST be kept to a minimum.
